District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency:
Single-Family Investment Fund

DCHFA’s Housing Investment Platform (HIP) is a Single Family Investment program created to provide affordable housing for the missing middle, or those people in the 60 to 120 percent median income range. Workforce housing is becoming a priority in the District because there is a need for affordable housing at all levels. DCHFA partners with developers to provide affordable properties in exchange for an investment of equity capital.

Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority:
Habitat for Humanity Revolving Loan Fund

IHCDA sets aside a portion of its annual HOME allocation for the development of homebuyer housing. Historically, the primary applicants for these funds were local Habitat for Humanity affiliates. However, we started to see a decrease in the quantity and quality of applications received. Through conversations with Habitat's State Director, a revolving loan fund was created using Indiana's Development Fund. This has allowed local Habitat affiliates to better utilize and leverage our funding.

Minnesota Housing:
Impact Fund

The Community Homeownership Impact Fund (Impact Fund) provides funding to developers and administrators to increase the supply of affordable, owner-occupied, single family housing in communities across Minnesota. The program invests in local communities by increasing affordable housing for homebuyers and creating job opportunities for local developers and contractors.

Washington State Housing Finance Commission:
100 Homes and Counting: Habitat for Humanity Partnership

The Washington State Housing Finance Commission's financing partnership with Habitat for Humanity has not only jump-started the development of new housing by local Habitat affiliates to build more than 100 new homes across the state, it has also strengthened and sustained the statewide Habitat organization.
