Recognizes an HFA for a campaign designed to promote an agency event, including but not limited to a conference, community engagement activity, anniversary, groundbreaking, or dedication.

Judging Criteria

Communications entries will be judged on the degree to which they:

  • Are replicable
  • Engage targeted audiences
  • Achieve measurable results
  • Provide benefits that outweigh costs
  • Demonstrate effective use of resources
  • Achieve strategic objectives

Celebrating 50 Years of Strengthening Colorado

In 2024, Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) executed a yearlong innovative strategic campaign to celebrate 50 years of Strengthening Colorado and demonstrate CHFAโ€™s historic investment to meet community needs. The campaign e๏ฌ€ectively engaged sta๏ฌ€, partners, and the greater community to elevate achievements and honor the partnerships integral to CHFAโ€™s work over the course of ๏ฌve decades.

Minnesota Housing:
People Up Front: Housing Announcements That Center Storytelling and Impact

Minnesota Housing transformed its annual funding announcement into a story-driven campaign featuring mothers at risk of displacement, first-time developers of color and preserved communities like Bickham Court. Using emotional video, still photography, and research-backed framing, the agency created a replicable model that helps HFAs elevate lived experience, build public trust and show that housing is not just policy, itโ€™s personal.

North Carolina Housing Finance Agency:
50 Years of Housing Excellence

The year 2024 marked the NC Housing Finance Agency's 50th anniversary. The agencyโ€™s 50th anniversary celebration was a massive success that showcased the great work that the agency has accomplished over the last 50 years, but also celebrated the wide ranging and unique partnerships that the agency has developed that help us meet our mission. More, the celebration gave us a chance to go back to our roots, remember the past and develop strategies that will lead the agency into the future.

Virginia Housing:
โ€œNew Leadership: Same Missionโ€ New CEO Associates Meeting & Benefits Fair

This event unified associates under a single, energizing purpose and introduced our new CEOโ€™s vision under the โ€œSame Missionโ€ theme. The timing of this All-Associate event coincided with our Annual Associate Benefits Fair. The event had a shared theme: โ€œNew Leadership: Same Mission.โ€ All of the event marketing components shared the โ€œMissionโ€ concept. This played out in space-themed graphics and copy and was there to inform and energize our associate audience.

Wyoming Community Development Authority:
50 Acts of Kindness for 50 Years of Service

At WCDA, giving back is woven into the very fabric of who we are โ€“ itโ€™s one of our organizational core values. To celebrate our 50th anniversary, we launched a campaign to complete 50 acts of kindness for 50 years of serviceโ€”engaging our staff, partners, and neighboring HFAs across the Mountain Plains region. Together, we honored five decades of service by making a meaningful impact and strengthening the communities we all serve.
