In 2023, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs’ Housing Finance and Development Division (HFDD) revamped its Annual Report to focus on two strategies: 1) Telling the story of HFDD’s impact on people’s lives, and 2) Using the Annual Report as an accessible tool to arm decision-makers with information. More than anything, the report has allowed DCA to connect the reader to the families and individuals who develop, manage, and live in affordable homes financed through DCA.

Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority:
A Window into the Agency: IHCDA’s 2023 Annual Report

IHCDA’s 2023 Annual Report provides an in-depth brief look into the wide variety of programs and activities the agency administers. The report provides tangible and visible examples of these programs so that they come to life for the reader, who may come from any part of our constituency, from donors to developers, from participants to program providers, from bankers to board members.

Iowa Finance Authority:
Iowa Finance Authority Annual Report

This annual report goes beyond numbers, offering an interactive map for users to explore program impacts by county, legislative district and year. Each data point tells a story of resilience, from assisting homeowners to providing rental housing. Compelling video testimonials bring these numbers to life, showcasing the human faces behind our programs. Internal operations efficiencies were also realized as this annual report testimonial tour resulted in more than 100 stories to refresh assets!

Kansas Housing Resources Corporation:
20 Years of Unlocking Home

KHRC celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023, marking two decades of housing opportunities for Kansans. Our annual report celebrated our progress and reaffirmed credibility and accountability, positioning ourselves as the state’s go-to housing voice and partner. We accomplished this by highlighting the year's accomplishments and special events, using distinctive branding, an interactive timeline, a commemorative video, and eye-catching infographics.

Louisiana Housing Corporation:
2023 LHC Annual Report

The LHC 2023 annual report shares achievements and their impact throughout the year. From the layout of the report, a customized microsite, and a video recap, each component showcased the corporation's commitment to advancing housing opportunities in Louisiana.

Ohio Housing Finance Agency:
Modernizing the Annual Report

OHFA’s Annual Report has been data driven for years, doing exactly what was outlined in the state statute — reporting on program metrics. However, with the increased focus on housing, specifically affordable housing, OHFA worked to update the format of its Annual Report to allow audiences to better understand the impact the Agency’s programs have throughout Ohio. The report includes stories from homeowners, lenders, and partners highlighting how OHFA is working to achieve its mission.

Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency:
50 Years Strong

The past year marked the 50th anniversary of PHFA. As a result, this year’s annual report was truly a labor of love. As we began work on it, we recognized that not only were we producing a marketing piece for our agency and presenting key financial information for our investors, but we were capturing vital historical details about our agency in print and video so stories about our housing mission and our many successes wouldn't be lost to future generations of employees and the public.

Rhode Island Housing:

As a large, multi-faceted organization with numerous Departments and housing responsibilities for the State of Rhode Island and its residents, our Annual Report distills a busy year down for our audiences. Recognizing a chance for innovation, RIHousing produced the report in a nimble, accessible new format to share our information, with a focus on real people telling their own stories.

Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority:

Featuring eleven diverse employee profiles, it aimed to humanize the Authority and boost morale. Recognizing employees enhances engagement, retention, fosters a positive culture, and improves customer satisfaction. The report serves to inform stakeholders, reaffirm the Authority's vision, and emphasize interdepartmental collaboration.

Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority:
