Kentucky Housing Corporation:
NSPECT This House
When HUD announced that it would switch its inspection standards and protocols from Housing Quality Standards and Uniform Physical Condition Standards to National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate, Kentucky Housing Corporationโs Multifamily Compliance team wanted to ensure its staff and partners were prepared for the change. It created a three-video crash course covering the new standards and a model unit for staff and partners to tour to see violations in real time.
North Carolina Housing Finance Agency:
NCHFA's Mobi Mobile Inspection Software
The NC Housing Finance Agencyโs Mobi inspection software is an innovative software solution in response to HUDโs implementation of the National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE) inspection protocol. Prior to the launch of the Mobi software, physical inspections of properties in our multifamily portfolio were a manual process. Implementation of a software solution allows for multiple efficiencies in addition to meeting the demands of changing inspection requirements.
