Kentucky Housing Corporation:
Hosting A Grand Opening COVID-19 Style
In July 2020, the developer, Clayton Watkins Construction, reached out to Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) to see if there was a way to commemorate the opening of a 12-unit development in Owensboro, Kentucky, designated for homeless people who were transitioning to permanent housing. The virtual ribbon cutting incorporated all of the partners, giving them a sense of satisfaction and completion, and increased KHC's social media traffic and publicity, making it beneficial for all involved.
Minnesota Housing:
Going Big Selections Announcement
Every year prior to 2020, Minnesota Housing announced its funding selections for multifamily and single-family housing investments with an in-person event and printed 32-page reports. With in-person events off the table in 2020, and printing no longer a go-to medium, the Agency had to find new ways to share the news. We took the challenge, dropped the formal report and embraced fresh new video and web formats to reach a much broader audience.
