Stephen Payson

Stephen Payson joined MassHousing in 1995. With over 35 years of mortgage banking experience in both the private and public sector, Steve has held management positions in loan origination, underwriting, loan operations, specialized lending, and risk management. Steve currently is the Director of Home Ownership Lending and is responsible for underwriting, secondary and risk management, product development, loan acquisition and loan sales.

Steve is an honors graduate from Saint Anselm College, Manchester, NH with a BA in Economics and Bentley University, Waltham, Massachusetts with a MS in Accounting.
