Andrew Aurand is Vice President for Research at the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC), an organization dedicated to achieving socially just public policy that assures people with the lowest incomes in the United States have affordable and decent homes. He leads NLIHCā€™s research team, which documents the housing needs of low income renters and publishes research that informs the organizationā€™s advocacy and policy work. He co-manages the National Housing Preservation Database, along with the Public and Affordable Housing Research Corporation. Prior to joining NLIHC, Andrew served as a faculty member in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Florida State University.
