Kelly has served as the IT Director for Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) for the last five years where she enjoys working every day with a team of committed and talented individuals delivering value by continually modernizing CHFA’s technology, providing insights and analytics with business intelligence, and developing IT governance as a component of enterprise risk management. Kelly has been with CHFA for 18 years and has helped the organization with many technology initiatives over that time including building several custom line of business applications that are mission critical. Prior to CHFA, Kelly worked for five years for Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains where she got her entry into IT supporting over 30 clinics in seven states. She is certified as an agile scrum master and Project Management Professional (PMP). She earned an MBA with an Information Technology Management focus in 2005 from the University of Colorado Denver and has a BA in Sociology from Mary Washington University in 1994. Kelly has also been fortunate to participate in many leadership development courses in her time at CHFA including the NCSHA Notre Dame program. She enjoys travelling and spending time with her teenager Mel. They live together in Denver, CO with their new goldendoodle Sunny.
