Emergency Housing Assistance
The pandemic has put millions of households across the nation in jeopardy of losing their homes. Low-income renters, including millions of essential workers, have been hit the hardest. Lower-income homeowners also need emergency assistance. Millions are falling behind on their payments and running out of options.
Congress recently authorized more than $45 billion in emergency aid for renters and $10 billion for homeowners. Visit this page for more information on state programs, federal programs, and NCSHA recommendations.
