The Bollinger Foundation is Now Accepting Scholarship Grant Nominations

The Bollinger Foundation is now seeking nominations for their 2018 grant awards.

Qualified nominees are individuals who have lost a parent or guardian, and either the deceased or surviving parent worked or currently works in the field of affordable housing, community development, or economic development. The grants are traditionally used for college tuition and other education-related expenses. The deadline for 2018 nominations is May 4, 2018.

The Bollinger Foundation is primarily funded by its annual event, the Bollinger Open, which will be held this year on June 8, 2018 in the Washington, DC area.

The foundation, established in memory of Steve Bollinger, who served as HUD Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development from 1981 to 1984, has awarded more than $970,000 and helped more than 150 families.
