Delaware State Housing Authority | Homes for Grads

In Delaware, at least 65 percent of college graduates will leave school with student loan debt averaging more than $36,000. All too often, those graduates are choosing not to buy a home in the near-term or are considering never buying a home due to the financial challenges caused by significant student loan debt. To address some of the barriers these buyers face, DSHA launched a new initiative in 2019 called Homes for Grads to help recent college graduates purchase a home in Delaware.

Minnesota Housing | Annual Funding Announcement

On November 21, Minnesota Housing announced $254 million in funding to create and preserve more than 2,665 homes throughout the state. Communicating the impact of numbers like these can be challenging. For years, our annual funding announcement has felt similar to a traditional grand opening where public officials follow each other up to the podium. This year, we moved away from that model. Instead, we turned to a conversation-based event to communicate the impact of our work.
