Perry is chairman of Integral, a national urban development company he co-founded in 1993 with the mission to โ€œcreate value in cities and (re)build the fabric of communities.โ€ Headquartered in Atlanta, Integral is a premier provider of sustainable real estate, community, and infrastructure solutions in markets across the country, specializing in large-scale mixed-use projects and affordable and workforce housing developments.

In 1996, Integral conceived of and collaborated with another firm and the Atlanta Housing Authority to create Centennial Place. This forward-thinking project was the nationโ€™s first urban mixed-use community, integrating mixed-income housing, early childhood development, K-12 education reform, recreation, health and wellness facilities, and human services. Designated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as the National Model, this holistic revitalization approach to community development has since been replicated more than 250 times across the United States.

The Georgia Department of Community Affairs invites registered attendees to participate in this complimentary two-hour tour of Atlanta properties made possible through the Housing Credit program. Preregister (required) here; space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The tour repeats 3:30 โ€“ 5:30 pm.

Attendees will first visit Scholars Landing, a multiphase development by Integral and Atlanta Housing that has transformed the formerly public housing University Homes. Funded by HUD Choice Neighborhood Implementation Grants totaling $30 million, housing tax credits, and low-interest financing, the master development includes market-rate, affordable, and senior housing.

Then, attendees will be transported to Reynoldstown, where Rea Ventures is nearing completion on Madison Reynoldstown. Adjacent to the Eastside Trail of the Atlanta Beltline, Madison Reynoldstown will serve households earning 30 โ€“ 80 percent of area median income, providing much-needed affordable housing in a community facing rapid gentrification and high rent growth.
