Groundbreaking Marks Start of Major Renovation of Affordable Apartments in Camden

NJHMFA Executive Director Charles A. Richman, local officials and The Michaels Organization broke ground today on a major renovation of 64 townhomes that will preserve historic properties and affordable homes for families living in the city. Cooper Plaza Townhomes is the restoration of a five-block section of homes in the vicinity of Cooper University Hospital and the cityโ€™s downtown business district, close to jobs, transportation, shopping and schools.

HUD Delays New Down Payment Assistance Requirements for 90 Days; NCSHA to Continue Seeking Clarification

At the request of NCSHA and other industry associations, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) earlier today issued Mortgagee Letter 2019-07 (ML 2019-07). ML 2019-07 officially delays the implementation of HUDโ€™s recently announced documentation requirements for government down payment assistance programs (ML 2019-06) by 90 days.ย 

Funding Available for Emergency Shelter and Homelessness Prevention
