CHFA Invests in Preservation and Resident Ownership of Longmont Mobile Home Community

Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) is pleased to announce it has partnered with ROC USAยฎ Capital and Impact Development Fund on a unique transaction to support the preservation of The Longmont Mobile Home Community (Longmont MHC) by converting its structure to a resident-owned cooperative. This cooperative (LMP Co-op) eliminates the homeownersโ€™ risk of displacement, gives them more control over lot rent fluctuations, and preserves affordable homeownership in Longmont.

Hogan Administration Announces Nearly $10 Million Rural Broadband Expansion

"Maryland is ranked number one in America for having the fastest internet and we have been working hard to provide high-speed internet to every county in the state," Governor Hogan said. "Today I'm announcing that we will provide an additional $10 million this year as the first installment of a five-year $100 million initiative that will finally provide another 225,000 Marylanders in rural communities with access to reliable and affordable high-speed internet services."

HomeField 2 is the fifth such project completed over the last six years.
