FHFA Reports GSEs Met 2018 Affordable Housing Goals and Duty-to-Serve Requirements
According to a report released today by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), the government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in 2018 met all their affordable housing goals and their obligations under the Enterprise Duty-to-Serve Rule. The report, which FHFA submits to Congress each year, summarizes the GSEsโ 2018 affordable housing activities.

SDHDA Awards Dick Werner with Friend of Housing Award
South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA) presented its โFriend of Housingโ Award to Dick Werner at the annual statewide housing conference. This is the twentieth year of SDHDA presenting the award to an individual who has made a commitment to affordable housing in South Dakota through their contributions, achievements and vision. As a former legislator and county commissioner, Werner spent many years advocating the importance of affordable housing all across South Dakota.

New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) Executive Director Charles A. Richman, local officials and The Michaels Organization today celebrated the completion of the major renovation of 64 townhomes that will preserve historic properties and affordable homes for families in Camden. Cooper Plaza Historic Townhomes involved the restoration of a five-block section of homes near Cooper University Hospital and the cityโs downtown business district, close to jobs, transportation, shopping and schools.
