Governor Hogan Announces Marylandโ€™s State Small Business Credit Initiative Programs Now Open

Governor Larry Hogan today announced Maryland programs funded by the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) are open. Up to $198 million in federal small business relief is being administered by three state agencies: the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), the Maryland Department of Commerce, and the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO). These agencies will use funds to expand and enhance nine existing state business lending and investment programs.

MassHousing Closes on $40.8 Million in Financing for Pac10 Lofts, a New, 180-Unit, Affordable and Workforce Housing Community in Downtown Lawrence

MassHousing has closed on a total of $40.8 million in financing to Reed Community Partners LLC for the creation of Pac10 Lofts, a new, 180-unit affordable and workforce housing community in the Gateway City of Lawrence. Reed Community Partners has transformed a six-story section of the former Pacific Mills textile complex into new, mixed-income housing for households across a range of incomes, including 40 workforce housing units for moderate-income families.
