Governor Larry Hogan today announced nearly $32 million in project awards through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Developmentโs (DHCD) 2022 application round for federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and state Rental Housing Funds. Funds have been awarded to 12 projects as part of the competitive round. Nine additional noncompetitive awards were made through the Multifamily Bond Program, bringing the total awards to 21.

Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) has promoted Shreedhar Ranabhat to serve as director of commercial lending. The commercial lending team focuses on deploying capital and resources to finance multifamily affordable housing and business development projects throughout the State of Wisconsin. Ranabhatโs team is responsible for reviewing and allocating housing tax credits and administering the financing cycle, including application processing, underwriting, closing, construction, and loan conversion.
