The Downpayment Toward Equity Act of 2021
On July 15, 2021, House Financial Services Committee Chair Maxine Waters (D-CA) introduced this bill which would establish a grant program to fund down payment and closing cost assistance for first-generation home buyers. NCSHA has endorsed this legislation.
