IRS Notice 2020-10 (2020 Population Figures)
Notice 2020-10 advises State and local housing credit agencies that allocate low-income housing tax credits under ยง 42 of the Internal Revenue Code, and States and other issuers of tax-exempt private activity bonds under ยง 141, of the population figures to use in calculating: (1) the 2020 calendar year population-based component of the State housing credit ceiling (Credit Ceiling) under ยง 42(h)(3) (C)(ii); (2) the 2020 calendar year volume cap (Volume Cap) under ยง 146; and (3) the 2020 volume limit (Volume Limit) underยง 142(k)(5).

Sign-On Letter: Campaign for Housing and Community Development Funding, FY 2021 Appropriations
On February 21, 2020, the Campaign for Housing and Community Development Funding (CHCDF) sent a letter signed by 4,707 organizations, including NCSHA, to Senators Richard Shelby, Patrick Leahy, Nita Lowey, and Kay Grange urging members of Congress to work together to ensure affordable housing, community development, and transportation programs receive the highest allocation of discretionary funds possible in FY 2021.
