ACTION Campaign Letter Urging Congressional Leaders to Support the AHCIA of 2021
The ACTION Campaign, which NCSHA co-chairs with Enterprise Community Partners, sent this letter, signed by 2,421 organizations from across the nation, to House and Senate leaders urging them to support the passage of the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act (AHCIA) of 2021.
HUD Interim Final Rule Restoring Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Definitions and Certifications
This interim final rule issued by the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity and effective July 31, 2021, repeals the 2020 Preserving Community and Neighborhood Choice (PCNC) regulations and reinstates aspects of the 2015 Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing regulations, including certain definitions and certification requirements, that had been repealed by the PCNC rule.

HUD FY 2022 Budget in Brief
On May 28, 2021, the Biden Administration submitted to Congress its budget request for fiscal year (FY) 2022. The administration requests $68.7 billion for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, an increase of $9 billion above the FY 2021 enacted level.
