Request for Reallocated ERA 1 Funds Form
Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program grantees who have obligated 65 percent or more of their ERA 1 as of September 30, 2021, may submit this form to the Treasury Department requesting additional ERA 1 funds from the excess funds Treasury has recaptured from other grantees.
ERA Program Improvement Plan Form
Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program grantees who have obligated less than 65 percent of their ERA 1 grant as of September 30, 2021, must submit this Program Improvement Plan form to the Treasury Department.
Obligated ERA 1 Funds Certification Form
Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program grantees are required to submit this certification to the Treasury Department indicating the amount of their ERA 1 grant they have obligated through September 30, 2021.
Cantwell’s Call for Inclusion of Housing Credit Increase in Reconciliation Legislation
On October 26, 2021, during a Senate Finance Committee hearing, Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) called for the inclusion of a significant increase in the Housing Credit in the Build Back Better reconciliation legislation currently under negotiation in Congress.
NCSHA Letter to FHFA on GSE Affordable Housing Goals
On October 25, 2021, NCSHA sent the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) these comments on its proposed 2022-2024 affordable housing goals for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The letter urges the FHFA to finalize the increased single-family and multifamily goals included in the proposed rule and expressed support for FHFAโs proposal to establish a new subgoal for single-family loans used to purchase loans in minority census tracts.
ACTION Letter to President, Congressional Leadership in Support of Housing Credit Production Provisions in Build Back Better Act
This October 25, 2021, letter from 428 Housing Credit stakeholders and members of the ACTION Campaign to President Biden, Speaker Pelosi, and Majority Leader Schumer urges them to preserve the Housing Credit production provisions in the final Build Back Better reconciliation legislation.
NCSHA Letter to FHFA on GSE Equitable Housing Finance Plans
On October 25, 2021, NCSHA submitted this letter to the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) on its directive requiring the government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to โprepare and implement three-year Equitable Housing Finance Plans.โ In the letter, NCSHA expresses its strong support for FHFAโs directive and outlines two specific opportunities for GSE partnerships with HFAs that can help the GSEs better serve minority communities: expanding GSE financing through HFA homeownership programs, including their special HFA products, and piloting acquisition, development, and construction financing and small-dollar mortgage financing through HFAs.
CHCDF Letter to Congress on the Build Back Better Act
