Performs core tasks related to Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 8 Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) Contracts. Relevant core tasks include, but are not limited to, processing rental adjustments, voucher payments, and contract renewals and terminations.

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager (SSM) I, the Housing and Community Development Representative (HCDR) II is responsible for independently planning and implementing Division of Financial Assistance (DFA) programs, preparing program guidelines, Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and Applications, evaluating program effectiveness, reporting, and policy research. HSF/CIPF/CATNHP Specialist/Housing Program Specialist IV - Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development

The HSF/CIPF/CATNHP Specialist coordinates all aspects of the bond-funded Housing Stabilization Fund (HSF), Capital Improvement Preservation Fund (CIPF), and Commercial Area Transit Node Housing Program (CATNHP).  The incumbent coordinates with other division staff on additional funding programs. The HSF/CIPF/CATNHP Specialist coordinates with internal staff and quasi-publics on preservation initiatives.
