Performs core tasks related to Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 8 Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) Contracts. Relevant core tasks include, but are not limited to, processing rental adjustments, voucher payments, and contract renewals and terminations.

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is hiring! With the creation of the federally funded Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), DHCD is looking to hire a team of mission-driven individuals to deploy rental and utility relief funding and services to households impacted by COVID-19.

The incumbent coordinates with other division staff on additional funding programs. The HSF/CIPF/CATNHP Specialist coordinates with internal staff and quasi-publics on preservation initiatives.
