After an extensive national search, the New Hampshire Housing Board of Directors has named Robert (Rob) Dapice as Executive Director/CEO of the organization, as of January 1, 2022. Dapice will succeed Dean Christon, a well-respected and nationally recognized affordable housing advocate and leader who will retire December 31, 2021 after 34 years of service with New Hampshire Housing.

MaineHousing Announces Old Orchard Beach Affordable Housing Ground Breaking for Milliken
The Szanton Company, a Portland-based housing developer, broke ground today on a major affordable housing development that will create an influx of new year-round housing for Old Orchard Beach residents who are 55 or older. The Milliken Heights development, at 38 Portland Avenue will add a 55-unit apartment building that includes 42 units for households earning below 60 percent of the area median income. The other 13 units will be rented at market rent.
MassHousing Closes on $9 Million in Financing for the Development of Phase I of the Woodland Cove Affordable Rental Housing Community in Wareham
MassHousing has closed on $9 million in financing to Dakota Partners, Inc., to support the development of Phase I of the Woodland Cove affordable rental housing community in Wareham. Dakota Partners is developing the eight-acre site in three phases and Phase I will involve the construction of 63 new rental homes, including seven workforce housing units. Overall, the three-phase development will result in 150 new apartments at Woodland Cove.

State to Release Results of First Housing Study in Nearly Three Decades
A year-long comprehensive statewide housing needs assessment—the first of its kind undertaken in 27 years—is nearing completion, and Kansans are invited to learn about preliminary findings in a series of regional community meetings. The study identifies current housing needs and growth opportunities, including goals to guide the state’s future housing development efforts. “For too long, Kansas has operated without a strategic focus to guide our housing investment, hindering our state’s economic development,” said Ryan Vincent, Executive Director of Kansas Housing Resources Corporation.
MassHousing Closes on $35.3 Million in Financing for the Refinancing and Major Renovation of the 78-Unit Bancroft Dixwell Apartments in Boston
MassHousing has closed on $35.3 million in affordable housing financing to Urban Edge for the refinancing and extensive renovation of the 78-unit Bancroft Dixwell Apartments in Roxbury and Jamaica Plain. Urban Edge will utilize the funding to make substantial renovations to the properties, investing approximately $17 million in property upgrades. As part of the transaction, Urban Edge is merging the 45-unit Bancroft Apartments, and the 33-unit Dixwell Apartments, in Roxbury and Jamaica Plain, into one scattered-site entity.
