PHFA Accepting Bids for Purchase of Mixed-Use Development Tax Credits

The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency announced today that it is accepting bids for the purchase of $4.5 million in mixed-use development tax credits. The funds collected from successful bidders will be used for the construction or rehabilitation of mixed-use developments in Pennsylvania communities.ย  The deadline for bids is 2 p.m. on Friday, July 15.

Governor Signs HB2610 Paving Way for More Affordable Housing

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey this week signed HB2610 into law removing the arbitrary cap on the size of affordable housing apartment communities constructed by non-profits wanting to qualify for a property tax exemption. The new law encourages more construction of larger affordable apartment communities across the state that rent solely to income-eligible tenants.

Governor Wolf Announces Funding to Support Affordable Housing Across Pennsylvania

Governor Tom Wolf today announced recipients of a new round of funding for housing programs made available through the Pennsylvania Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation Enhancement (PHARE) fund. The governor named 245 housing and community development initiatives in 67 counties that will share a portion of the total $48.4 million in PHARE funding for fiscal year 2021-22. The PHARE fund is managed by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency.
