Governor Hochul Announces Groundbreaking of $64 Million Affordable Supportive Housing Development in Rochester

Governor Kathy Hochul today announced that construction has begun on Canal Commons, a $64 million development that will convert a 19th century manufacturing facility into 123 affordable and supportive apartments. Located in Rochester's Susan B. Anthony neighborhood, the building will include 70 homes with supportive services.

Iowa Finance Authority Announces 2022 Preferred Homeownership Lenders

The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) today announced that a total of 23 lenders have earned IFAā€™s 2022 Preferred Lender designation. Governor Hochul Announces Completion of $25 Million Affordable Housing Development for Seniors In Kingston

Governor Kathy Hochul today announced the grand opening of Landmark Place, a $25 million affordable housing campus in the city of Kingston in Ulster County. The development features 66 new affordable apartments for seniors aged 55 and older, including 35 homes reserved for seniors in need of supportive services to live independently.Ā  Ā 

Mortgage Professionals Named New Hampshire Housing Homeownership Fellows

Eleven Granite State professionals who work with homebuyers have been named 2023 New Hampshire Housing Homeownership Fellows. The program offers an opportunity to explore the mortgage finance system and participate in workshops about housing and public policy, housing and economic development, state government issues, and New Hampshire Housingā€™s homeownership programs. Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) announced that $950,000 was awarded to four Indiana non-profit organizations to administer the Indiana Housing First Program. The organizations will provide tenant-based rental assistance and supportive services to individuals and households with a serious mental illness or a chronic chemical addiction who are also facing a housing crisis.Ā
