CHFA Announces 2019 Round One Low Income Housing Tax Credit Awards
Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) is pleased to announce that it will award state Affordable Housing Tax Credits and 4 percent federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits to support the construction or preservation of 1,344 affordable apartments across 12 project sites located in the Denver metro area, northern and southern Front Range, and Western Slope.
Affordability Extended at Lowell Housing Community for Seniors and Disabled Residents Resulting From $7.5 Million in MassHousing Financing
The non-profit Rogers Hall Corporation also plans property renovation at the 61-unit Rogers Hall where affordability will be extended for at least 25 years. Senior citizens and disabled residents living at the 61-unit Rogers Hall in Lowell will have their affordable rents extended for at least 25 years and will see property improvements as a result of $7.5 million in MassHousing affordable housing financing to the non-profit Rogers Hall Corporation.

Ferguson has more than 30 years of experience in the multifamily lending world, most recently with BBVA Compassโ Affordable Housing division in Denver.
NJHMFA Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for Supportive Housing in Somerset County

The Station at Grant Avenue, which will provide apartments affordable to families and is part of an effort to bring significant new development to Plainfield, broke ground Wednesday for a $29.3 million project financed in part by the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) and Superstorm Sandy recovery funding.
MassHousing Closes on $35.8 Million in Financing for the Redevelopment of the Former Worcester County Courthouse in Downtown Worcester into a 117-Unit Affordable Housing Community
MassHousing has closed on $35.8 million in affordable housing financing to Trinity Financial, for the redevelopment of the former Worcester County Courthouse in downtown Worcester. The MassHousing financing will allow Trinity Financial to redevelop the former courthouse into 117 apartments for households across a wide range of incomes, including 45 workforce housing units.
CHFA Invests $1 Billion in Homeownership
With homeownership season ready to heat up, Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) today announced that it has reached a $1 billion milestone in its affordable homeownership programs this year. CHFAโs year-to-date investment translates to 3,742 Colorado households achieving homeownership. Additionally, more than $47 million in down payment assistance has been provided through CHFAโs programs, and more than 4,700 households have enrolled in a CHFA-sponsored homebuyer education class so far in 2019.
Groundbreaking to Bring New, Affordable Apartments for Families, Veterans to Mount Laurel
At the location of a landmark court ruling on affordable housing, a groundbreaking today in Mount Laurel marked the start of a 103-apartment complex affordable to families and veterans. The event was attended by New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) Executive Director Charles A. Richman, local officials, and developer Volunteers of America Delaware Valley.
Housing Agency Recognizes Partners With Champion Awards
North Dakota Housing Finance Agency recognized a dozen of its outstanding partners as Champions of Affordable Housing at the Statewide Housing Conference. โThe Champion Awards recognize and celebrate the work of individuals, non-profit organizations, public agencies, and private sector businesses who go above and beyond to provide affordable housing for the people of North Dakota,โ said Jolene Kline, NDHFA executive director.
