Hurricane Michael Homeownership Housing Relief Receives 118 Loans

Over $1.7 million has been reserved for 118 loans through Florida Housing Finance Corporationโ€™s (Florida Housing) new homeownership programs in the following Hurricane Michael impacted counties: Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty, Taylor, Wakulla and Washington.

New Financing to Create, Preserve 380 Affordable Apartments

The Washington State Housing Finance Commission has approved a total of $88 million in financing for the new construction or preservation of 380 affordable apartments across western Washington. โ€œThese projects will contribute construction jobs and commercial space to their communities while providing critically needed homes for seniors and those experiencing homelessness,โ€ said Karen Miller.

DCHFA Finances New Affordable Rental Community in Ward 7โ€™s

WHEDA Finishes Fiscal Year 2019 with Nearly a Half-Billion Dollars in Single Family Lending

In Fiscal Year 2019 (FY19), the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) provided mortgage loan funding to 3,703 individuals and families totaling $480. 8 million. This is the third largest funding total in WHEDA history and the best since 2007, just before the housing crisis hit in 2008. โ€œOur affordable housing mission continues to grow at a rapid pace,โ€ said WHEDA Single Family Director David Rouse.
