WASHINGTON, DC – The National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA) has launched its new website, an online portal where the associations’ thousands of members can collaborate, problem-solve, and share successes and challenges. The site delivers constantly updated, dynamic content.

“I think we are right up there with the best and most tech-savvy groups in terms of what we offer our members,” said Barbara J. Thompson, the association’s executive director. “Now they’ll have something that’s so important in this era of Web 2.0—the ability to communicate, work together, and learn from one another every day, in real time. We wanted to bring the best aspects of our meetings to life on the web, and I believe we have succeeded.”

The site, built in the powerful Drupal content management system, features daily blog posts, vibrant community areas, and an easily navigated, dynamic structure that highlights the resources NCSHA makes available to its members and partners. ForumOne Communications of Alexandria designed the site.

NCSHA is a national, nonprofit organization created by the nation’s state HFAs to assist them in increasing housing opportunities for lower income and underserved people through the financing, development, and preservation of affordable housing.
