The Louisiana Housing Corporation Celebrates June as Homeownership Month

June 2026—The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) celebrates the value of Homeownership Month this June. LHC’s Homeownership Outreach Team will attend several events across Louisiana promoting the importance of homeownership and what it has done for Louisiana communities.

Homeownership is a pathway to generational wealth, an investment in one’s future, and promotes the foundation for stability and opportunity. The homeownership process can be challenging, but that’s where the Louisiana Housing Corporation comes in to help Louisiana residents become homeowners.

LHC’s Homeownership Outreach Team is here to support potential homebuyers during the homebuying process. Our team partners with housing professionals across Louisiana, including lenders, processors, and real estate agents, to expand access to homeownership opportunities statewide.
