WHAT: A daylong discussion of The Future of Home Ownership in Massachusetts with panel topics including: The Future of Home Ownership in Our Cities; The Relationship Between Home Ownership, Jobs and Economic Growth; Home Ownership as a Political Priority in Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.; and the Future of Home Ownership Financing.
Lt. Governor Tim Murray will be the keynote speaker and guest speakers will include: Rob Authier, CEO of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®; MassHousing Executive Director Thomas R. Gleason; Eric Belsky, Director of the Harvard Joint Center on Housing; Secretary of Housing and Economic Development Greg Bialecki; Paul Bishop, Senior Vice President of the National Association of REALTORS®; Barry Bluestone of Northeastern University; New Bedford Mayor Scott Lang; Patrick Lawler, Chief Economist and Assistant Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency; Worcester Mayor Joseph O’Brien; and Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno.
