Delaware SHA: Governor Markell Declares June Delaware Homeownership Month

 

What:             Governor Markell will sign a proclamation declaring June Delaware Homeownership Month, and tour the Steeley Family home.

 

Who:               Governor Jack Markell, HUD Regional Administrator Director Jane Vincent, and  new homeowners the Steeley family will joinDSHA Director Anas Ben Addi and our partners to celebrate Delaware Homeownership Month and view ongoing rehabilitation and improvements to the home.

Join HUD and local officials to celebrate Homeownership Month along with the Steeley Family.  Learn about current products and services offered by Delaware State Housing Authority that can help families prepare for and attain the American Dream of owning their own home.  Attendees will have the opportunity to see first-hand the renovations being made and how their dream is becoming a reality.

·         Take exit 6 for DE-9/4th St toward DE-4/M.L. King Jr Blvd

·         Merge onto N Jackson St

·         Turn right onto DE-4 W/Maryland Ave for 1.2 miles

·         Turn right onto Matthes Ave

·         Slight right onto I-295 N/Delaware Turnpike (signs for Del Mem Br/NJ-Ny) 

·         Take exit 5 toward Newport

·         Merge onto US-202 N 

·         Continue onto DE-141 N

·         Take exit 4 for DE-4 toward Newport Stanton

·         Turn right onto DE-4 E/E Market St

·         Continue to follow DE-4 E for 1.4 miles

·         Turn left onto Matthes Ave

·         Destination will be on the right
