| Program Description | A new pilot program in 19 counties established to provide financial relief for renters who have experienced a loss of income and are in eviction proceedings due to circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The program will be expanded statewide in January 2021. |

| Administration Structure | The program is a partnership between the Supreme Court of Texas, the Texas Office of Court Administration, and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA). Local organizations will process individual applications for assistance. |
| Maximum Length of Assistance | 6 months, at least one month of which must be for arrearages as the program serves tenants that are already in the eviction process, not those who could be evicted in the future, and at least one month of which must be prospective. |
| Maximum Assistance Available Per Household | No more than 120 percent of the Small Area Fair Market Rent (SAFMR) or Fair Market Rent if SAFMR is not available. |
