Program Description

A new program established to provide financial relief for renters who have experienced a loss of income resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and are at risk of losing housing.

Eligibility Criteria

โ€ข Household income must be at or below 50 percent of AMI with priority given to households with income at or below 30 percent of AMI.
โ€ข Households must not be able to pay rent and are imminent risk of eviction.

Administration StructureThis program is administered through Ohioโ€™s Continua of Care (CoC) and includes the eight large Continua and the Balance of State Continuum of Care.
Maximum Length of Assistance

Up to 6 months

Maximum Assistance Available Per Household

No more than 120 percent of the FMR for the CoC service area, unless waived by the OHFA.
