A new program established to provide financial relief for renters and homeowners who have experienced a loss of income due to circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Household must earn no more than $20,833 per month.
• Must have had a COVID-19-related loss of income.

A new program established to provide financial relief for homeowners who have experienced a loss of income due to circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Household incomes in the last 90 days must be no more than $21,000 ($24,000 in Chittenden County).
• The program is limited to primary home mortgages.
• Mortgages must have been entered into prior to March 1, 2020.
• Must have missed one or more payments due to COVID-19.

A new pilot program in 19 counties established to provide financial relief for renters who have experienced a loss of income and are in eviction proceedings due to circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The program will be expanded statewide in January 2021.

• Household income must be at or below 200 percent of the Federal poverty level.
• Must have experienced a loss of income or increased household costs due to school closures or medical expenses attributed to COVID-19.
• Must be past due on rent and is at imminent risk of eviction due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Must be in eviction court proceedings and have full cooperation from the landlord.
• Must not be a recipient of any other rental assistance program for the same months of emergency assistance.
• The landlord must forgive outstanding late fees and penalties, and cannot pass court costs to the tenant.
• Rent cannot exceed 150 percent of Fair Market Rent (FMR).

A new program established to provide financial relief for renters who have experienced a loss of income due to circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Household income must be at or below 80 percent of AMI.
• Must have a COVID-19-related loss of income beginning March 10, 2020 or later.
• Must be past due on rent.
• Must not be a recipient of rental assistance programs such as Section 8.

A previously existing program to provide relief for renters and homeowners experiencing a temporary housing crisis, which may or may not be COVID-19 related.

• Must be a state resident for no less than one year, or a lesser period in the case of a household fleeing domestic violence.
• Household must be at or below 50 percent of statewide median income limit.

A new program established to provide financial relief for renters who have experienced a loss of income due to circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Household income must be at or below 100 percent of AMI.
• Must have become unemployed after March 1, 2020, or had a COVID-19-related income reduction of at least 30 percent.
• Must be past due on rent for at least 30 days.
• Must be used for rent incurred between March 1, 2020, and December 30, 2020.

A new program using federal funds established to provide financial relief for renters who have experienced a loss of income resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and are at risk of homelessness.

• Household income must be at or below 80 percent of AMI.
• Must have had a loss of income, have compromised health status, or elevated risk of infection or vulnerability due to COVID-19 factors.
• Must be unstably housed, homeless, at imminent risk of homelessness, or fleeing domestic violence.

A new program established to provide financial relief for renters who experienced a loss of income resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and have experienced homelessness .

• Household income must be at or below 50 percent of AMI with priority given to households with income at or below 30 percent of AMI.
• Households are to be identified through the CoC’s centralized intake process with priority given to individuals at greater risk of contracting COVID-19, e.g., seniors aged 60 and older and individuals with underlying health conditions.

A new program established to provide financial relief for renters who have experienced a loss of income resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Assistance will be prioritized for applicants with the greatest economic and social need.

• Household income must be at or below 80 percent of AMI at the time of application and prior to March 1, 2020.
• Must be paying more than 30 percent of their gross monthly income on rental payments at the time of application and prior to March 1, 2020.
• Must have had a reduction in monthly income in any month from April 2020 to July 2020.
• Must not be a recipient of rental assistance programs such as Section 8.

A new program established to provide financial relief for renters and homeowners who have experienced a loss of income resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Household income must be at or below 80 percent of AMI (applicants residing in tribal lands do not need to meet household income requirements to qualify for assistance).
• Must certify financial hardship related to COVID-19.
• Must have been current on housing payments as of February 28, 2020, and be able to provide documentation of past rent, mortgage, or other housing expenses
• Must not have received other forms of housing assistance for the same period.

• Household income must be at or below 50 percent of the AMI.
• The household must be a New Hampshire resident.
• The household cannot be receiving federal rental assistance or living in public or publicly-subsidized housing.

• Must be past due on an expense incurred after March 1, 2020, due to COVID-19-related circumstances.
• Recipients of rental assistance programs such as Section 8 are only eligible for utility assistance.
• Must not have a federally backed mortgage.
