FHFA Final Rule on 2022โ€’2024 Single-Family and 2022 Multifamily Housing Goals for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac

On December 22, 2021, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) published a final rule establishing the single-family and multifamily affordable housing goals for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for years 2022-2024. The final rule increases all of the single-family goals and subgoals and establishes two new subgoals โ€“ one targeting minority communities and the other targeting low-income neighborhoods. The rule also increases each of the multifamily goals and subgoals for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

State and Local Government and Housing Industry Sign-On Letter to Secretary Yellen on Using Fiscal Recovery Fund with the Housing Credit
