Governor Hogan Announces $10.8 Million in Project Restore Awards to 144 Businesses
Governor Larry Hogan today announced the first round of awardees for Project Restore, a $25 million economic recovery initiative that provides financial incentives for small businesses and commercial developers to revitalize vacant retail and commercial space. A total ofย 144 businessesย in 23 jurisdictions will receive $3.6 million in rental subsidies and $7.2 million in business operations grants over the next two years, totaling $10.8 million in support.
Gov. Evers, WHEDA Announce $1 Million in WHEDA Foundation Grants for Emergency and Extremely Low-Income Housing
Gov. Tony Evers announced today that 34 organizations, from Beloit to Phelps and from Pepin to Grafton, will share $1 million in grants from the WHEDA Foundation as they work to provide emergency shelter, transitional residences, and extremely low-income housing.
Kansas Housing Awards $2 Million for Rural Housing Development
Eight Kansas communities will receive a combined total of $2 million to develop affordable housing for moderate-income households. The funding, made possible through the state of Kansasโย Moderate Income Housing (MIH) program, provides grants or loans to develop housing and promote homeownership in cities or counties with populations of less than 60,000.

MaineHousing is announcing the allocation of Maine Affordable Housing Tax Credits and federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) to build or renovate seven affordable housing developments across Maine. The combined $8.2 million in tax credits will generate over $44.1 million in equity from private investors.
MassHousing Awards $627,350 for Affordable Sober Housing to Support Men, Women, Families and Senior Citizens in Eight Communities
MassHousing has awarded a total of $627,350 in grant funding to create 46 new affordable sober housing units and preserve and additional 35 sober homes for men, women, families and senior citizens in eight communities. The grants come from the Center for Community Recovery Innovations, Inc. (CCRI), a nonprofit subsidiary corporation of MassHousing that helps nonprofits create or preserve affordable sober housing in Massachusetts for individuals in recovery.ย ย

Hogan Administration Announces More Than $7 Million in Community Development Block Grant Awards
Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development Secretary Kenneth C. Holt today announced that $7 million will be awarded through the Community Development Block Grant program.
