Kansas Housing Awards More Than $154,900 in Vital Services for Low-Income Families and Communities
Seven nonprofit community organizations across the state received a combined $154,920 to help low-income Kansans achieve stability and access economic opportunities.

MSHDA and Lansing Housing Commission Receive Funding to Reduce Youth Homelessness
Today, The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) received $4.5 million in Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Lansing Housing Commission also received $1.9 million in YHDP funding to address local youth homelessness issues.
CHFA Launches New Resource for Colorado Homebuyers
Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) is proud to announce the launch of the Homebuyer’s Roadmap. This online, interactive resource gives users the chance to “choose their own adventure,” featuring stops on the homebuying journey that highlight various aspects of purchasing a home, including homebuyer education, understanding credit, selecting a lender, inspections, and appraisals.
New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority’s Restoring Our Communities Program Helps to Restore Vacant Houses and Provide Affordable Housing Opportunities
The New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA) launched its Restoring Our Communities (ROC) Program Sept. 1, 2023, to help meet New Mexico’s need for affordable housing units while assisting communities in reducing vacant and abandoned houses that decrease property values. Homeowners within close proximity to abandoned homes can pay higher insurance premiums as well.
Lt. Gov. Crouch, IHCDA Launch Updated Dashboard to Assist Communities with Housing Inventory
Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) today announced the launch of the Indiana Housing Dashboard 2.0, a database that includes a statewide inventory of housing in Indiana. The first version of the Dashboard was released by IHCDA in December 2021, and efforts begin shortly thereafter to design and implement added features and more robust content.
Delaware State Housing Authority to Begin Issuing Final Federal Homeowner and Homebuyer Funding
As part of the state’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA) launched three new temporary programs to address barriers to achieving and maintaining homeownership for affected populations.

Recent Report Ranks Oregon Among Top in the Nation for Affordable Housing Standards Around Healthy Building Practices, Energy Efficiency, and Racial Equity
Oregon received top marks in a recently released report entitled “Building a Better Affordable Housing Future” released by the Bluegreen Alliance Foundation. The report examined Qualified Action Plans (QAPs) in all 50 states.
