LHC Awards $129 Million to Expand Affordable Housing Across Louisiana
Today, the Louisiana Housing Corporation announced the award recipients of the 2019 Housing Tax Credit program, which funds the acquisition, construction, and rehabilitation of affordable housing throughout Louisiana. Over $129 million in 10-year federal housing tax credits were awarded to 20 developments that will create 877 apartments serving families, seniors and individuals with disabilities.

CHFA Announces 2019 Round Two Low Income Housing Tax Credit Awards
Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) is pleased to announce the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) awards for the second and final award round of 2019. CHFA is the allocating agency of federal LIHTC in Colorado. In this round, 30 applications requesting $34.9 million in federal 9 percent LIHTC were received. CHFA is awarding $17,111,701 in 9 percent credits to 15 developments, which will support the construction of 723 affordable rental housing units.

A groundbreaking today, attended by New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) executive staff, kicked off construction of 75 affordable rental apartments for families as part of the next phase of the redevelopment of a former public housing site in the cityโs Centerville neighborhood. Hurricane Michael Homeownership Funding Completely Committed in Less than Four Months
In less than four months, a total of $5 million in down payment (DPA) and closing cost assistance has been committed to assist more than 335 homebuyers through Florida Housing Finance Corporationโs (Florida Housing) new homeownership programs in the following Hurricane Michael impacted counties: Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty, Taylor, Wakulla and Washington.
