Kentucky Housing Corporation Honors Top Partners, Announces Closing Cost Grant

Lending Partners, Loan Officers, Real Estate Partners Gather to Celebrate Providing More Than 3,000 Kentuckians Access to Affordable Homeownership Loans

FRANKFORT, Kentucky — Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC), the state housing finance agency, recognized its 2025 top homeownership partners yesterday at the 21st Annual Top Producer Awards. The event was held at Savor at River House in Louisville.

“Yesterday we recognized all the KHC partners who work directly with families to help them take the first step in building generational wealth through homeownership,” said Winston Miller, executive director and chief executive officer. “We highlighted the top producers, but we are grateful to all of the loan officers, lending companies, and real estate companies who partner with KHC and without whom it would not have been possible for 3,015 Kentuckians to become homeowners in 2025.”

For the fifth straight year, Stockton Mortgage Corporation earned Top Lender, closing 466 KHC loans in 2025. Stockton loan officers generated a loan volume of $89.9 million for KHC’s portfolio. Stockton Mortgage is based in Frankfort, Kentucky, but also has offices in Ashland, Bowling Green, Florence, Georgetown, Hopkinsville, Lexington, Louisville, and Pikeville.

“Stockton loan officers are huge proponents of Kentucky Housing Corporation,” said Cindy Bradley, vice president of affordable products at Stockton. “Being able to get people into homeownership is just the best feeling. Homeownership is the number one wealth-building vehicle that middle- and low-income people have. It changes the course of their lives.”

Blake Henderson of New American Funding LLC received Top Loan Officer honors. He closed 60 KHC loans in the Lexington area in 2025.

The Top Producing Real Estate Agency award was given to eXp Realty LLC for the third year in a row. Working with KHC-approved loan officers, they helped more than 90 homebuyers close using KHC loans.

“I have been in the real estate industry for over two and a half decades,” said Elizabeth Monarch, the designated principal broker in Kentucky for eXp Realty. “And really, at the end of the day, it is not just about helping consumers and people purchase a home, it’s about helping them make that first step towards building wealth.”

Closing Cost Grant

KHC also announced a limited-time closing cost grant. Starting today, homebuyers using a KHC loan are eligible for up to $2,000 in assistance with down payments, closing costs, and prepaids on top of the up to $12,500 in down payment assistance qualified buyers can receive. The $2,000 is limited to the first eligible 500 KHC buyers and does not need to be repaid.
