Missy Covington

Missy Covington Vice President, Compliance, joined Raymond James Affordable Housing Investments in January 2006. She is responsible for the development and execution of RJAHI’s LIHTC, CRA, and insurance compliance strategies and technology infrastructure. In addition to developing RJAHI’s policy and procedures, Ms. Covington is responsible for the formation of training for all RJAHI associates as it pertains to compliance and continuing education for the HCCP designation. Ms. Covington serves as RJAHI’s housing compliance expert, consulting on our $1 billion plus annual originations as well as ongoing compliance of RJAHI’s $15 billion asset management portfolio; she is an invaluable asset to RJAHI’s investment committee. As a leader, Ms. Covington has developed a team of best-in-class compliance analysts with expert industry knowledge. Ms. Covington holds multiple industry credentials and is respected nationally as a regular panelist. In 2017, Ms. Covington was elected Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP®) of the year. She currently serves nationally on the HCCP Board of Governors and locally on the Board of Directors for Boley Centers for Behavioral Healthcare.
