Caty Waterman

Caty Waterman

Caty Waterman is the Deputy Director of Multifamily Administration and Initiatives for the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development. In her current role, she is responsible for developing and updating policy documents, such as the QAP and PHA Annual and Administrative Plans. She also works on the development of new programs and initiatives. Caty led the roll out and administration of the Assisted Housing Relief Program, an ERAP program targeted to properties financed by the Department. Most recently, she worked with the Vera Institute on reducing barriers to accessing affordable housing.

Caty earned a B.A. in economics from Sweet Briar College and a M.Sc. in Political Science and Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
