Megan Bolton

Megan Bolton joined OHCS in June 2015 and moved into the role of Assistant Director of Research in December 2019. In this role, Megan leads the research team’s efforts to improve existing data collection methods, report on agency activities, understand statewide housing needs, and inform policy and planning decisions. Megan came to Oregon from Washington, DC where she worked for the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) for six years. As Research Director there, Megan was responsible for NLIHC’s signature research report, Out of Reach, as well as many other resources used by affordable housing advocates and policymakers across the country. Prior to working for NLIHC, Megan was the Portfolio Analyst for the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), a Community Development Financial Institution headquartered in San Francisco, CA. She has a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the George Washington University and a BA in Anthropology from Penn State University.
