Catherine Stone

Cathy started with Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) 16 years ago and is the director of the public housing department. She oversees the HUD Moving to Work program and administration of 1,612 public housing units and over 6,000 vouchers. She has overseen the development of Rent Reform, the Jumpstart Family Self-Sufficiency program, and several set aside housing programs that provide direct rental assistance to vulnerable Alaskans. Prior to coming to AHFC, Cathy was with the State of Alaska department of law as an assistant attorney general in the commercial and fair business section.
