Amy Rainone

Amy Rainone serves as RIHousing’s Director of Government Relations and Policy, having begun her career at Rhode Island Housing in 2000 as the Policy and Planning Manager. In her current role, Ms. Rainone facilitates efforts between Rhode Island’s U.S. Congressional delegation, the Rhode Island General Assembly and Governor’s office, and locally-elected officials to address issues regarding housing, homelessness and community development. She has extensive governmental and legislative experience and previously served as a Legislative Assistant and Project Coordinator for U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy, working on housing, community development, appropriations and constituent concerns.

Ms Rainone represents RIHousing on the Executive Climate Change Coordinating Council Advisory Board and the Special Legislative Commission to Study Housing Affordability. Ms. Rainone holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Studio Art from Dartmouth College.
