Steve Johnson

Steve serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA). He previously served as Director of Community Development and a member of CHFA’s leadership team since 2010, and has been with the organization since 1996. Prior to joining CHFA, he spent six years in the commercial lending industry. In 2023, Johnson received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Development Finance Agencies in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development finance industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Hillsdale College.
