Melanie Weathers

Melanie C. Weathers, CPM, has held the position of Finance Director at Florida Housing Finance Corporation (Florida Housing) since 2020. Melanie has been employed at Florida Housing since 2002 and has served in different roles including Senior Finance Administrator and Bond Administrator. She has overseen billions in both short- and long-term bond issuances for the Single-Family Bond Program. Additionally, she has sold billions in the TBA market. Prior to joining Florida Housing, Weathers was a branch manager for a financial institution. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University (FSU), Tallahassee; Weathers also is a Certified Public Manager® (CPM), through the Florida Center for Public Management at FSU.
