Melanie Weathers

Melanie C. Weathers has served as Finance Director at the Florida Housing Finance Corporation since 2020. She has been with Florida Housing since 2002, holding several roles including Senior Finance Administrator and Bond Administrator. Throughout her tenure, she has overseen billions of dollars in both short- and long-term bond issuances under the Single-Family Bond Program. Additionally, she has executed billions in mortgage-backed securities through the To Be Announced (TBA) market. Prior to joining Florida Housing, Weathers was a branch manager for a financial institution. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and is a Certified Public Manager, a designation earned through the Florida Center for Public Management at FSU.
