Kris Clymans

Kris Clymans is a highly accomplished IT professional with over 28 years of experience, specializing in infrastructure management and cybersecurity. Since joining the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency in 1999, Kris has been an integral part of the organization’s technology and cybersecurity strategy, taking on the roles of Manager of Infrastructure and Support and CISO designee since 2012. His leadership has been pivotal in advancing the agency’s technology portfolio and fortifying its security measures.
His expertise spans across critical domains, including phishing prevention, security education, server and endpoint virtualization, and incident response. A proactive approach to active shooter incident planning and education underscores his deep commitment to protecting the organization and its workforce.
Combining technical knowledge with insights into human behavior, Kris holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Shippensburg University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Juniata College. His professional credentials are bolstered by a CISSP certification, maintained since 2012, and a Certified Government CISO certification from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology.
