Heather Hart

Mrs. Hart has over 20 years of Human Resources experience. She joined the District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency (DCHFA) in June 2013. She serves as the Vice President, Human Resources and is responsible for the planning and managing of the Human Resources strategy and operations for DCHFA. In her position, she supports organizational and strategic business initiatives by focusing on talent management, talent acquisition, and employee relations. Mrs. Hart is an integral part in shaping the culture of the Agency through staff engagement and serves as a subject matter expert to the Executive Director/CEO and senior leadership.

In 2020, Mrs. Hart received the Washington Business Journal’s HR Impact Award, recognizing human resources professionals in the Greater Washington area who have made a significant, positive impact on their workplaces through their leadership and efforts to create productive, creative, and safe environments.

Mrs. Hart is a SHRM Certified Professional and has her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation. She earned her B.A. in Government and Politics and her MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park.
