Hazim Taib

Hazim joined Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) in December, 2013. Hazim has about 20 years of experience in public finance. At CHFA, he is responsible for the management of over $5 billion of loans and investments in residential homeownership and multifamily rental. Since 2014, CHFA has issued over $4.3 billion in tax exempt and taxable bonds to finance loans for first-time homebuyers and for the construction and rehabilitation of rental properties for the benefit of low-to-moderate income residents. Prior to joining CHFA, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Illinois Housing Development Authority. Hazim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana State University, a Graduate Certificate in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Diploma in Public Administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia.
