Brent Adney

Brent Adney, is currently the Director of Homeownership Programs for the South Dakota Housing Development Authority. He joined the Authority in September, 1993 and is responsible for loan originations that total more than $400 million each year. Adney is a 1981 graduate of Northern State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing.

He started his career as a collection manager of a small Savings and Loan in 1980. Since then Mr. Adney has been involved with real estate in various capacities including a mortgage loan officer, a manager of a Real Estate Department for a Regional National Bank and has owned and managed his own rental properties.

Mr. Adney is a graduate of several Executive Development Courses including Notre Dame and is a certified National Development Council – Housing Development Finance Professional. He is a speaker, trainer, and a certified continuing education instructor approved by the South Dakota Real Estate Commission and the Neighborhood Reinvestment Training Institute.
